Residents of Otwock, Mińsk Mazowiecki, Nałęczów see the heritage of Andriolli every day, sometimes as wooden houses in the Świdermajer style, a local school, museum, street named after him. Local artists create murals and plaques commemorating the artist. On theŚwiderRiverthe tradition of summer houses has survived. Competitions inspired by Andriolli’s works and dedicated to commemorate his name are still organised.

In 2010 in recognition of his merits, the City Council of Józefów posthumously awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of Józefów to Michał Elwiro Andrioli. Let us quote a fragment of the grounds of the motion: “We also believe that the contemporary residents of Józefów have the right to call Andriolli the father of the town, because it was Andriolli – the owner of both banks of the Świder River in the years 1880-1893 – who inspired many of the then inhabitants of this land and the guests staying in Brzegi to build summer houses on both banks of the river, which today also belong to Józefów”.
