On 30 June 2000 the Polish Post released six postage stamps of the “Protagonists of Pan Tadeusz”. They depict the main characters and scenes from the poem – based on drawings by Michał Elwiro Andriolli, engraved by Andrzej Zajkowski, illustrating the edition of 1881.

Stamps:

• value of 70 gr: 1 – Gerwazy and Count, 2 – Telimena and Judge;
• value of 80 gr: 1 – Wojski, 2 – Father Robac, Judge, Gerwazy
• value of 1.10 zł: 1 – Jankiel, 2 – Zosia and Tadeusz
