In the last years of his life, despite his failing health, Andriolli continued to work. His main activity at that time was to create paintings for churches in the area of today’s Mazovia. Besides, in 1891 he finished working in Kaunas on 16 oil paintings commissioned for the cathedral. In November 1892 he went to St. Petersburg, where he arranged an exhibition of his templates, drawings and paintings. After his return he rested in Brzegi and worked on illustrations to Adam Mickiewicz’s Konrad Wallenrod. He also painted a large painting for the church in Karczew, entitled The Entombment of Christ. In 1893, he painted four paintings on canvas for the church in Nowogród. He also published drawings and texts from his travels through Dalmatia in several magazines. Due to the rapidly progressing deterioration in health caused by gastric cancer, he planned to go to Slavuta to save his health. It proved impracticable.
